Concept

Every year a lot of concept projects, masterplans, vision- and structureplans and creative draft proposals are made at our studio - some we develope on our own from own ideas, others are made i coorperation with various actors - from private people, firms, public authorities to organizations and associations.  

This is an area we are really passionate about!

Climate Circles

Adventure - and memorial park, The battle of Jutland

In association with COWI A/S, A2 arkitekterne has developed a concept for establishing an adventure- and memorial park at the Sct.George, Stranding Museum placed in Thorsminde, a park that exhibits the uniq historic event "The battle of Jutland", which took place during the 1. World War in the North Sea.  

"The Nissum key", the future village sports hall

A2 Arkitekterne developes the first fase of vision- and ideas for the future sports hall in Sdr. Nissum. The project was allocated to participate in the pilot project named "New life in old sports halls", from the fund "Lokale og anlægsfonden".

Sea Park, Holstebro, a recreative area in the city

A2 arkitekterne and sources from the Nupark environment together with rowing and kayaking clubs and the municipality of Holstebro has in union taken the initiative to a developement project concerning Sea Park Holstebro. At the moment the launch of the projects is being discussed politically.

The 50+_model, seniors of the future

New concept developed by A2 arkitekterne in coorperation with a housing company and the municipality. The project deals with the developement of senior housing of the future. The new "we-want-generation"; is a generation of seniors, that are active and wants to set self-developmenting requirements to their senior surroundings. Therefore the architects must develope the senior housing of the future, so the new demants can be fullfilled.

"The Path of the Water", future urban developement

In coorperation with The Landowner society in Holstebro and A2, a new prospect for future urban developement has been made, from the already exsisting strategies of the municipality. The purpose of the prospect is to generate projects in the area of Holstebro - projects with the very same target; to develope the municipality for the future, and placing the region on the map. "The Path of the Water" is at the moment getting a webpage designed, and on that page you will be able to follow the different projects developing. Further info later on.
